Thanks in advance.

Hi Paul,

I do have a couple of hymnals with this hymn in it.

The first is Great Songs of The Church (revised) published by A-C-U Press, Abilene, TX 1986 (hymn #374). This hymnal only has the first 4 verses in it.

The second is The Worshiping Church (A Hymnal) published by Hope Publishing Company, Carol Stream, IL 1990 (hymn #789). This hymnal has 6 verses but they changed the words on verse 6 to create a new copyright.

MP3 File: ]By Christ Redeemed

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:26 - For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

The version you heard at church is an arrangement where they changed some of the words to create a better fit for their service. I am not sure I can post that version without permission but I will post the public domain version for you pretty soon.

Take your time, I do appreciate the help in locating the hymn. I thought maybe the hymn was a new one but you say it is in the public domain? How old is it?

I created this piece of sheet music from multiple sources. You can sing the hymn using the MP3 music file but, since the music file does not have the "IN MEMORIAM" closing music you will need to do that part without music if you wish to use it...
